This month’s meeting provides a rare opportunity to learn insider negotiating secrets and tips from a real estate agent. Our speaker is multi-award winning local agent Jarrah J. Holmes of Century 21 Brighton.
Jarrah has been selling property since 2009. He started his career in real estate after he and his wife attempted to buy their first home in 2008 and he was astonished by the difference between a good agent and a bad one. He realised that there was plenty of room in real estate for genuine people who wanted to do the right thing and has been able to fast track his career on the back of that premise.
In his time he has been fortunate enough to be awarded:
- International best new talent nominee – L J Hooker (2009 – 2010)
- Captains Club Award top 15% of International Sales People – L J Hooker (2011 – 2012)
- 3 x Gold Award Residential Sales – CENTURY 21 (2012 – 2013)
- 2 x Young Gun Award Top Sales under 30 – CENTURY 21 (2012)
- 3 x Bronze Award Residential Sales – CENTURY 21 (2012 – 2013)
- Masters Club Award – CENTURY 21 (2013 – 2014)
He currently sits in the top 5 sales people in Century 21’s South Australian Network for G.C.C..
Jarrah is bright, self motivated and enthusiastic and prides himself on achieving the best result for his clients, not only in dollar value but conditions as well, while always keeping his clients best interests close to heart.
Jarrah would like to share with our group some of his most memorable experiences as well as giving us an insight into the different styles of agents out there and how best to negotiate with both good and bad agents. He will also discuss how best to build a relationship with an agent.
At the end he would be more than happy to open the floor to any and all questions.
This is a rare opportunity to be able to ask a real estate agent any question you like, discuss scenarios and find out what makes an agent tick. Don’t miss it!
If time permits after Jarrah’s presentation and question time, our leader Kathryn O’Connor will present a “Real Deal” sharing her current development project with the group.
This will be our last meeting for the year. We expect to resume in January with a Cashflow Game to kick off the New Year.
