This month we are excited to bring you two talented design professionals who can help you make money and also save money by getting your interiors and exteriors right. Both are great at what they do and, not surprisingly, both have been featured in Houzz.
Naomi Wynn started her career as a graphic designer and worked in the industry for over 15 years before quitting her job in 2011 to peruse a career in horticulture.
Naomi now combines all her passions and specialises in garden design, creating three-dimensional spaces that transform clients’ outdoor spaces into enjoyable extensions of their homes and living areas. Through her Brisbane based garden design studio, Balance Garden Design, Naomi works collaboratively with clients to create unique and sustainable gardens.
This year Naomi also launched a website, Repeat Harvest, dedicated to teaching and encouraging people to grow their own food.
In addition to answering your questions, Naomi will cover topics such as:
• How to improve a property’s street appeal with landscaping
• Designing value-adding outdoor living spaces
• Creating focal points with low maintenance feature areas
• Sustainable and low maintenance gardens for rental properties
• Working with the style of the house and the surrounding landscape
• Maintenance tips
Naomi’s desire is to assist and inspire everyone to garden, and enjoy their outdoor landscape. Raised in Bundaberg, Naomi lives in the Redlands with her husband, two children, four chickens and a dog.
Deb Lindner is a self-confessed design junkie who began her career in interiors at the age of five – when she finally convinced her mother that her lilac bedroom walls really did NOT match the green carpet and they HAD TO GO! She was right – and has been styling, creating and designing everything in sight with a passion ever since…
She is an entrepreneur, trainer, published author, professional singer, mother, speaker and consultant. (Whew!) After 15 years of multi-national marketing and design experience she discovered her true passion (and expertise) and founded Mink Home Staging. She now works with home sellers, developers and agents every day – using these same marketing principles to help them sell properties a lot faster … and for a higher price.
Property does not come with a ‘Recommended Retail Price’ and Deb knows that sellers can directly impact their sales result, if they learn how to take control of the process and use strategies that work.
This is her big passion – she believes the real estate game is changing. This is why she is also the founder of The Australian Institute of Home Stagers, where she trains others from all over Australia to become property stylists.
Her knowledge is highly sought after by the media and she has been featured in The Sunday Mail, The Sun-Herald, the Brisbane Times, API magazine and 4BC radio.
Remember to bring a pen and paper as you’ll want to take plenty of notes! This is also a great opportunity to ask questions of the presenters and other participants.
Tea and coffee provided, along with a FREE Australian Property Investor Magazine!
I look forward to seeing you there!
