Happy New Year to all and welcome to 2017, let’s make it the best year yet! What better way to get yourself into gear and moving on from those Christmas feasts and New Years drinks… than coming down learning some new things and meeting some awesome people. Onto the meeting…
To say the least the last year or so has been an interesting time, so to kick off the year we will be providing a much more in-depth market update which also covers economic trends to give us an idea of what may be ahead for the year and hopefully provide you with some valuable insights. We also welcome back by popular Adam Barry, who will be running through the very important topic of finding deals using his detailed approach that has yielded him great results. Everyone who attended this presentation last time, was impressed with the methodical approach Adam takes to his research.
This Month’s Speakers
Jeremy and Craig our meeting organisers will be giving a market update with more detail than usual, topics covered will include status of the building industry, how the WA economy is performing, consumer confidence, major projects in the resources and non-resources sectors, what’s happening in China and more. This will give you a good idea of where we are at currently and from that where we may be going, useful for your planning…
Adam Barry is an experienced local property investor that a number of you may have met at one of our meetings. He started investing in property in 2009 and has achieve some fantastic results. He has undertaken a range of value-add projects including renovations, subdivision and developments and done quite well out of them, progressively taking on larger challenges. Anyone who knows Adam would agree he has a methodical approach to his investing. His approach to locating deals and managing projects is something every investor should be using. Adam will be covering the very important topic of how to find the deal, the very thorough process he uses to evaluate a suburb for opportunities, as well as how to buy the deal to get the best profit. The lessons learned in this topic will form the basis for our upcoming sessions on subdivisions and developments.
