This month, we are very fortunate to have 3 presenters to the Brisbane Property Meeting on 15th August 2017 who will cover town planning , surveying and engineering considerations associated with subdivision.
There will be a short quiz to introduce participants to subdivisions. This will test your knowledge of subdivisions and prompt some questions you will want to ask the experts who have kindly offered to present at this meeting.
Craig Christie from ASI Planning kicks off the presentations by addressing town planning considerations when undertaking a subdivision. Craig has 20 years’ experience in town planning, both in local government and subsequently in consultancies, including setting up his own company over 5 years ago. ASI Planning has helped thousands of people with their property developments and is an accredited RiskSmart consultant. Craig has also undertaken his own development projects and has helped many people make great decisions that lead to profitable development outcomes.
Craig will be followed by Jason Favier from ONF Surveyors, who will address surveying aspects associated with subdivisions. Jason is a director of ONF Surveying, which has been helping clients with their data needs since 2002. The company covers the full spectrum of surveying services and operates from 2 offices covering SE Queensland, Wide Bay Burnett, the Darling Downs and beyond.
Finally, Roger Andrade from Civil Works Engineers will present the engineering factors that need to be addressed when contemplating undertaking a subdivision. Roger is the managing director of Civil Works and has over 16 years’ experience in civil engineering. His company has delivered over 1500 projects in SE Queensland, ranging from subdivisions, multi-unit dwellings, through to shopping centres and industrial buildings.
There will be a session after Roger’s presentation, where attendees can ask questions of the panel.
Some focussed networking will complete the evening’s proceedings, following the panel session.
