There is lots of noise about using your super to buy property in the market, but unfortunately not everyone has your best interests at heart. This month we have an expert in self managed super funds who will cover:
- Why it’s important that you consider your overall financial situation, goals and objectives before committing to a transaction in your super.
- Learn the mechanics of how you can use your super fund to buy residential or business real property
- Get the run down on the opportunities, restrictions, regulations and obligations investors have when using their super to buy real estate
- Why it’s important to get good, holistic, objective advice, and beware of the property spruikers
We are pleased to welcome Raymond Pecotic from Empire Financial Group to present this month’s topic. A highly decorated professional, Raymond’s 20 years experience in financial services has seen him engage in a diverse range of roles and ventures, dealing with large corporations, small to medium businesses, individuals and family clients. Raymond is the Western Australian representative to the Securitor National Advisory Council, helping to develop and improve communication between the advisor network and licensee management. He is also often called upon as a speaker on financial planning strategies, to accounting, finance and real estate groups, and the membership of associations such as the Institute of Public Accountants.
