Tue 19th June – Riding the Property Roller Coaster

The property investing/ development journey is seldom plain sailing. Many say it is a roller coaster ride, especially when playing in a hot market and getting involved in development. Leaving the ratrace, while a great feeling, just might make the roller coaster ride that much more bumpy. So what can you do to make the journey a little more comfortable for you and how can you prepare for this?

Both Simon Honywood and Richard Hodges made the decision a couple of years ago to venture on this journey full time and have survived to tell the tale. They will outline their trips so far and provide some insights that can help you on your way.

Richard has a wealth of sales experience across several different industries including Real Estate Sales. Richard says that the biggest sale he ever had to make was ‘selling’ himself on the belief that he could actually do property full time. Having a passion for property for many years, Richard took the plunge into full time Property Development in late 2016 and has never looked back.

Simon HonywoodSimon, on the other hand, spent many years working as a town planner and landscape architect with consultancies and government agencies, before discovering life on the “dark side” of development and renovating. He took a year off work and got so much out of it personally and as a developer/ investor that he decided to not go back.

Come and join these intrepid travellers on the property road as they take you on an illuminating ride that, hopefully, guides you away from some of the bumpy patches that many experience on this journey.

There will be structured networking following on from the presentations.

Meeting room doors open at 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start. The meeting finishes around 9.00pm.
