The Property Meeting on Wednesday 25th January is aimed at providing you with a platform to launch you into your investing for 2012!
Do not miss this meeting if you want to get the inside scoop into what is happening in the WA property market, and what the opportunities and challenges may be in the coming months.
It is also a great opportunity to shake off any cob webs from the festive season, meet like minded people and get yourself into the right mind set for the year ahead.
To the speakers, first we have Ben Lamers from the renowned Hegney Property Group, who’s Director is featured regularly in the API magazine and many other places. Ben is a Senior Property Adviser and a licensed valuer having worked in the property industry for over 20 years, specialising in the residential and commercial market within the Perth Metropolitan area. Ben currently works closely with investor clients in identifying property buying opportunities in today’s market, negotiation and acquisition of properties.
Ben will be discussing:
- what happened in real estate in 2011 and why
- what the trends are coming into 2012, including thoughts on where the market may be going and why
- thoughts on areas that may perform well
As a bonus Ben will also be bringing along the latest Hegney newsletter which is full of useful information.
The second speaker is Wade Willcocks from Liquid Finance. Liquid Finance Solutions exists to provide individually tailored finance solutions and impartial home loan and property investment loan advice.
Wade has 15 years of experience in the Financial Services sector in a variety of roles including: management of the Western Australian and South Australian Capital Raising function for Becton Property Group; in London as part of Credit Suisse First Boston’s Capital Protected Hedge and Mutual Fund of Funds team; as well as starting his career as a stockbroker with Todd Partners (now State One Equities) in Perth. Wade holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is a Fellow of FINSIA.
Wade will be discussing;
- what factors will influence the WA market from a finance perspective
- what has been happening in lending in 2011 and directions for 2012
- what the opportunities and challenges will be for investors in the year ahead
There will also be time for questions, so make the most of your opportunity and think up a few.
