This month, we are very fortunate to have 2 experienced people show us how to get the best returns from property using short term rental accommodation (specifically AirBnB) as a means to improve cashflow for your business.
Aaron Byerlee bought his first business at age 22 and his first property soon after that. Moving from Adelaide to Sydney 5 years later to open up two more traditional businesses, he also purchased 8 more properties over the next 2 years but, when the Global financial Crisis hit, Aaron successfully changed his business model to one capitalising on online business. He also changed from traditional, negatively geared property investing to creative cash flow strategies. This now includes his and his wife’s BnB Professional Blueprint, which is his favourite and most lucrative cash flow model. He and Nicole now offer this blueprint to hundreds of students.
Aaron will show you where to consider buying or renting properties for Airbnb and how you can do this lucratively without owning a property, while generating significant cash flows for your business in a short period of time.
Ellen is an experienced town planner, property developer, renovator, entrepreneur and AirBnb host. She gained this experience in both South Africa and Australia and advises many property developers and investors on their development proposals, while working for an established Brisbane town planning and surveying company. Projects have included residential/commercial subdivisions of all sizes, multiple-unit developments, rooming accommodation and commercial development. Ellen has also completed an interior decorating course and undertaken a number of lucrative renovation projects.
Ellen will show you where you can run short term rental accommodation, some of the things you will need to consider and also how she and Mike set up a successful Airbnb enterprise as part of a subdivision and development project.
There will be time for questions after their presentations and, possibly for some structured networking afterwards.
