Thu 8th Aug – Identifying development opportunities in Redland City with Ellen McDonogh

In August, we are fortunate to have Ellen McDonogh from Gateway Survey and Planning show you how to identify development opportunities presented by the new Redland Planning Scheme.

Ellen is an experienced town planner, property developer, renovator and AirBnb host, having gained this experience in both South Africa and Australia. She has advised many property developers and investors on their development proposals, with projects ranging from residential/commercial subdivisions, multiple dwellings through to rooming accommodation and commercial development. Ellen has also completed an interior decorating course, a postgraduate diploma in business administration and undertaken several subdivision and renovation projects.

Ellen will show you how to navigate Redland City Council’s website to explore a property’s development potential using zoning, overlays, service locations and other data available from PD online and other free resources. She will also provide an overview of the Redland City Plan and identify a range of development opportunities and constraints. This will be a not- to- be missed opportunity to explore what is possible in an area that is not so hotly contested than Brisbane City but yet offers bountiful possibilities.

After Ellen’s presentation, you will be able to identify a site’s with potential before approaching a town planner or Council for further advice.

There will be some structured networking being offered, following Ellen’s presentation.
